From then on, almost every other year saw the introduction of a novel instrument, among many others the first polyurethane catheter, various generations of antimicrobial catheters, a truly automatic intra-aortic balloon pump and the first stimulating continuous nerve block catheter.

In October 2007, Arrow International was acquired by Teleflex Incorporated. Arrow products are now part of the Teleflex Medical family of brands.
