Product Availability
What impact will the ERP implementation have on my ability to receive product?
We anticipate some changes to customer purchases as systems come up to speed. However, we have planned for these changes, so we expect only minimal disruptions only during the initial start-up period.  back to top

Will you ship from the same location?
Yes.  back to top

Will part numbers change?
Limited part numbers will change due to duplication across systems. Any such change will be communicated to you.   back to top

Invoicing
Will my invoice change?
Yes. “Teleflex Medical” will now be the name indicated on invoices. The individual brand names will not be in the heading of the invoice but will be referenced in each line item on the invoice.  back to top

Do I send payment to the same place?
Yes, for the time being. There will be a new “lock box“ created for Teleflex Medical to accept payments. However, the old lock boxes where you currently send payment will be kept open for a set amount of time to facilitate the transition to the new system.  back to top

Customer Number
Will Teleflex Medical assign a new customer number to each customer when it implements its new ERP system?
Yes, we will assign a new customer number to each customer. This new customer number will be used to place orders for all of our brands that are going live in phase 1 (Fall 2007) and will be communicated to you as soon as it becomes effective. Until then, please continue to order products from us as you have in the past. Once all phases of implementation are completed, you will have one customer number across all facilities.  back to top

When do I have to switch to my new customer number for ordering?
Not immediately. New account numbers will be assigned and activated in an ongoing time period after our new system goes live. However, old account numbers will be cross-referenced and will be maintained for a period after the start-up of the new system.  back to top

Is there a grace period where I can still use my old numbers?
Yes. The system will cross-reference the old numbers to the new ones fro a designated period after the system goes live. The length of this period is yet to be determined.  back to top
