Qualification Requirements
BA/BS in Marketing, Marketing Communications * 3-5 years of marketing / communications coordination experience * Working knowledge of Adobe C3/C4 software * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word * Ability to travel out of town – for off site meetings, preparation, and management. 15% travel per year. Some overnight required.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Business-to-business marketing experience a plus * Medical industry knowledge a plus.
 
Responsibilities
This role is to include but not limited to: • Literature and lead fulfillment, literature inventory and reordering of literature • Sales force and Executive Management communications • Create, edit, proofread and produce moderate to complex documents, including correspondence, presentations, tables, spreadsheets and promotional pieces • Assist with website and intranet updating • Maintain external media relations list • Assist with management and budgeting of print and electronic advertising campaigns • Assist with marketing communication projects and programs including direct mail, catalogs, sell sheets, tradeshow collateral, webcasts, digital library, and premium programs • Coordinates product literature with Product Managers including photography, photo samples, and technical specifications • Manage execution of programs (advertising, collaterals, multimedia, viral, interactive/web, direct mail, targeted events, exhibits, etc) through internal and external creative resources • Assist in creating style sheets, corporate marketing guidelines, and standard marketing operating procedures • Assist in the ordering and approval of business cards, letterhead, order forms, etc. to ensure branding standards and specific business unit guidelines are followed. • Ability to exercise prudent judgment with regards to cost on marketing deliverables • Assist with daily functions of the marketing group ensuring smooth and efficient workflow • Sales meeting planning – site selection and negotiation with site, theme development; team building activities, hotel arrangements, meeting arrangements, set-up, food and restaurant selection • PowerPoint presentations, mail merges, and database creation and maintenance • Sales lead processing and distribution • Track and report individual expenditures for the marketing department. • Manages Tradeshow program which includes: • Develops/coordinates pre-show and post-show promotional activities including mailer development & execution and promotional/giveaway items • Proactive communication to all attendees and booth staff of the show, the dates, meeting coordination, and staffing coordination • Negotiate room rates and secures hotel rooms for all employees attending and working the show; • Maintains booth inventory, coordinates packing, transportation and delivery, and return stocking of booth and materials. • Coordinates staffing of company’s exhibits and any other associated events with the show. • Analyzes effectiveness of trade show procedures and implements improvements • Assures on-site set-up and dismantle of trade show booth and troubleshoots booth problems as they arise during the show • Coordinates exhibit logistics including carpet, electric, drayage, freight, lead system and badge orders • Completes necessary documentation including contracts, deposits, and correspondence, and makes sure contractual deadlines are met • On-site assistance during tradeshows as needed • Works with display company for refurbishment of booth and graphics • All other duties as assigned
