Orth-evac Orthopedic Autotransfusion System

The Orth-evac Orthopedic Autotransfusion System is an easy to use blood collection and reinfusion system for use post-operatively following orthopedic surgery. It is a disposable device consisting of a flexible bag mounted onto a rigid, stainless steel support frame and with an internal 200-micron filter for filtration of gross particulates from the shed blood.

The Orth-evac contains an integral suction control mechanism that automatically regulates patient vacuum to approximately -20 cm H2O when connected to a vacuum line. The patient vacuum is preset at manufacturing. There are no other suction levels available. Spill-protection and one-way airflow protection are provided to assure the safety of the collection blood and of the user. It is available in 3 diameters of drain sizes and with/without trocars.
