Superior systems and querying skills along with solid understanding of database structure and systems for the purposes of extracting data Previous experience dealing with blanket contracts and/or Business to Business contract agreements Self-starting personality who works well independently and excels in team environments Ability to learn quickly, process and synthesize information from multiple sources Strong analytical abilities to manage constant information flow Ability to track, process, analyze, and communicate sales analysis and results Ability to manage and develop reports from databases, Excel, Access and PowerPoint Experience with a sales and financial reporting tool A high energy level, sense of urgency.
 
Qualification Reuirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or Business. A minimum of 5 years experience in sales accounting, budgeting, and other financial aspects of business with at least 3 years experience as a financial analyst, pricing analyst or sales analyst.
 
Preferred Qualifications
Sales analysis background, preferably in the medical device or related industry.
 
Responsibilities
The Sales Analyst/Contract Admin role supports the sales organization globally with all aspects related to customer contracts and sales data collection, analysis and decision making. This individual manages information and documents required for the Annual Business Planning (Annual Sales Plan) process and subsequent forecasts. This is accomplished by providing rigorous analysis, timely reporting and developing solid recommendations, this position will help ensure that the sales teams meet and exceed targets. The right candidate for this position is a self-starter, team player and able to effectively communicate results and trends to sales teams and management. Contracts require strong organizational skills as each contract necessitates project management skills in tracking revisions, approvals, and timely completion. This is an outstanding position for a detail oriented person with a strong sales and contracts administration background within a manufacturing environment. Contract Administration Maintain Contracts Database and files insuring accuracy of data and electronic files. Proactively monitor contract expiration for timely renewal and avoidance of service interruption. Track, analyze and prepare customer contract performance, and activity on regular basis. Support sales and corporate departments by querying data and providing necessary reports and analysis and ensuring accurate data input and reporting. Act as communication liaison between sales and controllers regarding master contract specifications and production needs Work with internal billing groups to implement structures resulting from new agreements Manage open contracts list working with Sales or Quality Directors to maintain revisions, negotiation topics and obtain approvals. Develop and maintain active list of common performance criteria or terms that are both accepted and not accepted by legal. Communicate these criteria to sales to set expectations with customers. Review new contracts and inform Director of items for concern or negotiation. Sales Analysis Collect and analyze sales data of individual customer, product, plus territory/regional performance Prepare and distribute standard weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc actual vs. budget reports to Senior Management and Field Sales team. Evaluate major account-level profitability and performance including cost of doing business with an account. Provide data in ‘sales’ formats that can be used for internal management meetings and external account level presentations. Utilization of industry data and reports to develop assumptions regarding product, pricing, regional, and market trends that can be used for business planning, forecasting, and business performance monitoring. Extract syndicated and/or customer specific data, interpret, analyze and make recommendations based on analysis. Create sales tools and templates based on fact-based analysis for use in business planning sessions. Coordinate with Finance to ensure useful financial reporting and forecasting that is timely and accurate.
