Teleflex Medical Introduces Taut® Universal Seal ADAPt® Ports
With the release of three Taut ADAPt universal seal ports, Teleflex Medical now offers a full line of completely bladeless laparoscopic access. The ADAPt (Asymmetrical Dilating Access Port) line now includes universal seals with the reference numbers 405910 (5/10mm), 405912 (5/10/12mm) and 40591213 (5/10/12mm long).
The Taut ADAPt product line, with the addition of the universal seal ports, offers surgeons a completely bladeless laparoscopic access. The universal seal is a new approach to access for the wide variety of instruments needed in laparoscopic surgery. It provides surgeons the ability to perform procedures without torn seals, smudged cameras or the need for reducer caps. When combined with the ADAPt tip, the universal seal gives clinicians completely bladeless access, a superior sealing system and a clear economic advantage.
ADAPt ports are used in the growing field of laparoscopic surgery and have specific applications in general, gynecology, thoracic and abdominal surgery.
