Experience Requirements
3+ years experience and the understanding in SAP R/3 4.0x, 4.5x & 4.6x ABAP
High level of knowledge of SAP R/3 integration with a minimum of 4+ implementations
Appreciation of Validation and Compliance requirements for system development & support
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
Experience of working within Medical and Pharmaceutical industry or FDA regulated industry
Excellent experience in developing, implementing and supporting complex interfaces and enhancements
Must have written and documented interfaces utilizing multiple SAP methods and technology.
Qualification Requirements
Education: BS or equivalent Business Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Other SAP areas of expertise such as HR and Payroll are preferred.
Responsibilities
Major Job Responsibilities:
Provide second level support to Teleflex SAP Solution on custom developed programs, such as, Interfaces, Custom enhancements (User Exits), Custom reports and forms
Translate business requirements into SAP technical requirements and solutions
Design, develop and enhance applications to support the business requirements
Provide on-going support to all implemented manufacturing sites, distribution centers and share services within the organization
Debug program abends and performance issues
Provide expert technical guidance to the functional team on any solutions or requirements
Proactively seek opportunities to improve the system performance as it relates to interfaces and system enhancements
Performs system analysis and conduct feasibility studies
Resolve complex support issues such as coding and debugging program logic. Analyzes application failures through examination of system dumps
Ensure that the system remains validated and compliant with regulatory agencies by following Teleflex Medical validation processes

Ensure that audit requirements are met
Keep up-to-date with SAP technologies and tools as it relates to the position
Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate
Work with other functional teams within IT and the Business to identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in the implementation of those agreed
Ability to contribute to the successful development of projects from inception to successful implementation and to full operational status.
