Experience Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years experience in a purchasing/buying position. Familiarity with surgical instrument manufacture required.
Qualification Requirements
Overall knowledge of MRP, and the overall purchasing function required.
Preferred Qualifications
APICS certification.
Responsibilities
Identify and implement key cost reduction and process improvements within the Instrument Supply Chain. This is to include performing in-depth inventory analysis, developing the criteria and metrics for supplier performance, and providing supplier consolidation analysis and opportunities.
